Eco Credentials
- Construction and Design – incorporating minimum site impact, passive-cooling and energy efficiency
- Solid Waste – composting, recycling and reuse whenever possible, other waste and recyclables are returned to the mainland to process
- Power Systems – Paradise Bay has a solar field supplemented by natural gas and bio-diesel
- Waste Water Treatment – grey water and black water waste (one of the most detrimental wastes to near-shore tropical aquatic ecosystems) is treated by the resort’s BioCycle® system to international health and environmental standards and then recycled to the garden irrigation systems
- Water Collection and Usage – the resort uses collected rainwater and water saving shower heads
- Purchasing – as much as possible purchases are made from local suppliers to minimize packaging and shipping
